Description

The Hot Rod Kit for CRF150R/RB (2007-2012) offers heavy-duty OE replacement connecting rods made from certified 8620 AISI steel for superior strength. The crankpins are crafted from hot-rolled ASTM 4115 steel and case hardened to 58-62Rc. The kit features the latest caged needle roller bearing designs, ensuring longevity at high RPMs. The uniquely designed big end includes side scalloping and vent slots to minimize bearing race distortion during high RPM operation. The small ends are double drilled for enhanced lubrication and cooling of the wrist pin bearing. The connecting rods are shot-peened to eliminate surface stress risers and ensure smooth radiuses, while double honing produces an ultra-round bearing surface for reliability. Each rod assembly comes complete with a connecting rod, crankpin, crankpin bearing, top-end bearing, and silver-coated bronze phosphor thrust washers. The kit is compatible with both Hot Rods and OE crankshafts, making it a versatile choice for high-performance needs.
