It includes a forged 8620 AISI steel connecting rod, crank pin, crank pin bearing, wrist pin bearing, and silver-coated phosphor bronze thrust washers. The kit features: – Certified 8620 AISI steel for superior strength and durability. – Crankpins made from hot-rolled ASTM 4115 and case-hardened to 58-62Rc. – Latest caged needle roller bearing designs for high-RPM longevity. – Big end with side scalloping and vent slots to minimize bearing race distortion at high RPM. – Double-drilled small ends for extra lubrication and cooling to the wrist pin bearing. – Shot-peened finish to eliminate surface stress risers and enhance rod strength. – Double-honed bearing surfaces for reliability at high RPM.
