Rick’s upgraded piece is designed with Mosfet Technology which provides a cooler running rectifier-regulator than the OEM design. This is a replacement for OE# 5BN-81960-00-00 & 5VN-81960-00-00. The Rick’s part will look slightly different than OEM but it will run cooler and is a direct plug in. *If the application is a YFZ450 this will fit the “R” model only.
This replaces the older style with the pigtail connector.
