Threads are rolled after heat treating to maximize compressive stresses and fatigue life. The case end features an interference fit for secure thread contact under high temperatures. Studs are centerless ground for concentricity and finished with a premium black oxide coating for corrosion resistance and a professional look. Both nuts and studs are made in the U.S.A.
