The KYB AGX Front Shocks & Struts for the ACURA EL (1997-2000) and HONDA Civic (1996-2000) offer manually-adjustable ride control without the need for special tools. Enthusiasts can enhance corner damping rates by up to 125% over the OEM design. Depending on the vehicle, adjustments are made using either an eight-position knob or a four-position screwdriver slot, both providing the same functionality. A single adjustment modifies both rebound and compression damping. The AGX’s velocity-sensitive damping valves respond instantly to driving conditions, ensuring optimal tire contact and vehicle control. For best results and to reduce noise and vibration, KYB recommends using new strut mounts (part number: SM5058).
