The Vertex Piston Kit is a high-quality replacement piston designed for durability and performance. Two-stroke piston kits are gravity-cast from aluminum alloy with 18% silicon content, creating a strong yet lightweight piston that maintains tighter tolerances for improved power, reduced noise, and increased longevity. Four-stroke pistons are forged from 2618 aluminum for superior strength and durability, with high-compression options available to enhance power and torque across the RPM range. All pistons undergo a T-5 heat treatment process for added hardness and strength. The piston skirt is coated with a Molybdenum Disulphide (MoS2) coating, which reduces friction, aids in break-in, and extends piston life. Each kit includes a piston, rings, wrist pin, and circlips, providing a complete replacement solution.
